renovate for rent

When I got divorced, being able to afford a rent in a half-way decent home was a challenge to say the least.  I came up with the idea of offering landlords the option of reducing the rent in exchange for renovations I would do.  So far it's worked out well.  Come with me as I chronicle the projects, and 'renovate for rent'.
